How to use YouTube audio library in a video project
If you want to make your own video or other media items, you ca n’t just get any music from the Internet. If you are flying and shooting a jet fighter on the sky in the United States, you cannot use Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” song and hope to get rid of it. The copyright issue is very tricky.

Therefore, people who need any audio to create their own media projects are always looking for music for legal use. YouTube decided to provide a YouTube audio library with free audio clips to make it easier for you to use them in video projects. These clips are provided by ordinary musicians, hoping to promote their works to all parts of the world.

YouTube Audio Library-The Gold Mine of Royalty-Free Music
You may wonder where this YouTube audio library is. Well, it’s located in the area called YouTube Studio on YouTube. To get there, click the link or go to the menu in the upper right corner of the YouTube page.

In both cases, you must log in to your Google account details. After entering YouTube Studio, scroll down the left menu until you enter the audio library. Click the menu to open it.

The YouTube audio library is divided into two parts-free music and special effects. YouTube regularly updates two parts. Therefore, if you do n’t see something you like, please check again.

Each entry in the library is basically an MP3 file, you can download the file and then drag it to the creation tool of your choice in the media project (such as iMovie for Mac owner). But first you need to find the desired object.

You can use search functions or filters to narrow and simplify your search. If you have a good idea, you can use filters. It divides music into genres, emotions, musical instruments, duration and attribution. You can use all five filters at the same time to really dig into the good stuff.

Type and mood

Knowing what type of music you want is half the battle. Do you want something deep, dark and moody? Is there anything exciting? Or something easy, happy and positive? If you know for sure, use the “style” and “emotion” filters.

Here, you can filter by instrument. Maybe you want a little light piano music? Or is someone playing the guitar? Do you really want to brag?

This is important because ideally you want to get content that fits the length of the media item. The last thing you need is a 12-minute audio clip of a 5-minute project. You can either edit the music down with something bold, or cut it when the music gets better.

Therefore, to get the correct duration, use this filter.

From a legal point of view, this is important because it involves copyright and creative sharing. Just because you get the music “free” does not mean that every artist who contributes to the YouTube audio library does not want to be rewarded.

Some people do not need any attribution at all. Because they may be just for fun. But there will be other people (professional musicians) who want some kind of recognition and shout at their works.

Therefore, the attribution filter can filter out those who want to be recognized who do not. For those who do this, just put their name in the end credit of your project, and / or in the video description on YouTube.

Decide who to choose
Once you have adjusted the filters and found a list of possible candidates for yourself, it is time to listen to their voices and determine which is the lucky winner of your naked mud wrestling video.

You will see a small black arrow on the left side of each clip. This is the “play” button, so you can preview the music.

Click on the music you want to listen to and it will start playing. You will also see if attribution is required. In this case, this is not necessary.

In other cases, you need to indicate the source, and then you will be told what to do.

When you find the file you want to use, go to the far right of the clip and click the download icon. Music files will now be downloaded directly to your computer.

However, it should be noted that these YouTube audio library clips are only suitable for non-commercial videos that will appear on YouTube. If you plan to produce commercial for-profit videos on or outside YouTube, you should purchase a professional license for music. Audio Jungle is a possible website.
